I'm back with a little update on Michelob the Los Angeles native who moved to the Bay Area at the age of 16. Having had to stop his basketball career due to an injury, Michelob picked up on rapping and ya'll probably heard him on Rappin' 4-Tay's latest solo effort Gangsta Gumbo.
Well he is back now with his solo album, called "Don't Let The Smoove Taste Fool Ya" and 4-Tay himself is one of the numerous guests performing on the album along with Michelob. All over the album are the Game Bangaz, the group consisting of Spice 1, 40 Glocc and Rappin 4-Tay". Other guests are Ras Kass, Eastwood, Medina and more.

Lil' Flip bleibt weiterhin bei Columbia gesignt und wird dort auch sein nächstes Album veröffentlichen. Damit ließ der Rapper alle Gerüchte dementieren, die eine Trennung der beiden Seiten vermutet hatten. Am 23. März soll das nächste Lil' Flip-Album "U Gotta Feel me" als Doppel-CD erscheinen. Es bietet Features von Cam'Ron, Ludacris und Produktionen von den Neptunes. Die erste Single "Game Over" läuft zumindest in Lil' Flips Heimatstadt Houston schon auf Heavy Rotation, da er bei Spielen des Basketball NBA-Teams Houston Rockets oft gespielt wird. Dort habe er auch seine Inspiration für den Song gefunden, so Lil' Flip:

"I wanted the song to have the energy of the Compaq Center after the Rockets wins."

We suggest you listen to Pray 4 Me until Survival Of The Siccest drops and peep the differences.
