I think you mentioned all 5 Mics Albums. There has not been one Album who earned 5 Mics since 2002, I think the last one who got it was Stillmatic. Even the Black Album only got 4 Mics.

Naw, the last 5 Mics album was "The Fix" as mentioned by Boogiezzy ;)
and though the "Black Album" is a solid piece of work, 4 Mics are aight.
I'm pretty sure that "The Chronic", "Doggy Style" and "Me Against The World" didn't get 5 Mics in the original reviews, and "All Eyez On Me" hasn't even been reviewed when it came out, but last year in the anniversery issue these albums were re-rated :schlaumeier:

das war doch schon immer benzinos oder? wenn man auf eastcoast-rap steht mag das irgendeine symbolik besitzen, aber sonst ists n schmierblatt...

:notsure: Vor allem in den letzten Jahren wurden doch auch eineige Nicht-Eastcoasta damit ausgezeichnet. Ich hätte zwar schon oft Alben anders bewertet als "The Sauce", aber wenn ein Album mit 5 Mics honoriert wird kann es nicht wirklich schlecht sein und wenn's weniger als 3 Mics erhält, kanns nicht wirklich gut sein.

Außerdem gibt's zur Not noch die Juice :ugly:

Meinte unter anderem auch Aquimini (auch wenn's zB ATLiens eher verdient hätte) und "The Diary" bekam soweit ich weiss gar keine 5 Mics (auch wenn's eher berechtigt wäre als bei "The Fix). Boogiezys Liste scheint auch nicht wirklich zu stimmen.

Also bei 5 Mics-ratings scheint ein gewisser Eastcoasttrend sowie Politrix involviert zu sein aber ich denke bei den unter 5 Mics liegenden Alben sind sie weniger NY-fixiert bzw. objektiver (außer als BenzinHoes Made Men damals 4 1/2 bekamen :bonk: )

Ne, Benzino hat einen der beiden Gründer rausgedrängt. Da gibt es Gerüchte, dass da auch einiges an Gewalt und Erpressung im Spiel war.

Er nennt sich zwar Founder aber das ist schlicht gelogen.
