SO WHAT'S THE STORY WITH THIS RELEASE?
Slice-of-Spice is dropping another heater with Paul Nice on a slice that hip hop fans and vinyl heads have been demanding for some time now. The track is ‘Conflict (Remix)’ featuring Masta Ace and Guru, a version that never made the original release in 2000, which was also produced by Paul Nice.
After 10 years this track is finally getting the quality vinyl release it deserves after Slice-of-Spice teamed up with Paul Nice and Mona Hip Hop to present a quality limited edition 7”, that includes the previously unreleased instrumental. Keeping true to the high quality of previous releases, the cover art is by world renowned graffiti artist EWOKONE, and a time-lapse video has been made for the official video; see below.
As we pass the 1st anniversary of the passing of Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal, we feel this release is a fitting tribute. R.I.P Guru!
Receiving over 2,000 SoundCloud hits on the first day details of the release were announced, it’s safe to say this record isn’t going to hang around very long. There is a very limited number available so don't delay in picking up a slice, before they're all gone!
