Unknown Track - BIG DS (unreleased NY demo 1994 ONYX)

Big DS left the group in 1994 to start a solo career. Big DS founded his own label Illyotic Music and started producing music. After recording a few demos, Big DS sent them to Jimmy Iovine, co-owner of Interscope Records, in the hope of signing a contract with his label for the release of the album.

Since the official Instrumental is already released on multiple mediums, I figure I would dig out a special mix for the golden era heads. Its nice to have access to the original multi tracks of these classics so I can drop mixes that no one would have ever heard. Here's a great example of that. Dropped the sample bass out and just let that boom bap drum pattern slap..

This is another big world premiere right here. Never available anywhere ever until right now... the acapella of the classic Onyx cut that put them on the map. Let the remixes commence...

First off, I have a true love for the golden era of hip hop. My plan with this channel is to upload versions and mixes of classics that have never been heard before. Most of them straight from the original multitracks (NOT FILTERING SOFTWARE) - The rare artifacts that haven't quite been uncovered yet. I feel like there are a lot of youtubers that re-upload versions of songs that are already uploaded by other users just to get views (Why so many uploads of the same exact unreleased 2Pac songs by different users with "Best Quality" in the title?). Everything I upload will be exclusive drops that no one has uploaded or dropped on the internet yet. Here and there I'll drop a few of my own remixes as well. From rare 2Pac, Biggie and Snoop to Pete Rock and CL Smooth and more. And some fyi, all of the videos marked as EXCLUSIVE MIXES are versions that I have created simply by muting certain instruments from the reel. I've got a lot of these to drop so please SUBSCRIBE ..
