100,000 Hits And Runnin’

Wow, what can we say but a little over 60 days ago Applauz Media crossed the border hooked up with some hustlers and assisted in the rebirth of Above The Law in cyberspace. Currently, without a single, album, and with two-thirds of the group completing their bid to Uncle Sam, www.abvdlaw.com (as of 3/01/05) has received over 100,000 hits. The site is still not complete, we will be adding additional content, but we are grateful for the love and curiosity that everyone has had and it’s worth all the internet hating the group has endured over their hiatus. Above The Law and WestWorld Records would like to thank everyone who has checked out the site and would like to especially thank all our Parliament members for feeding and nurturing the message-board, especially our members from overseas. WestWorld Records’ GM, Damon X has noted that the group appreciates all the love everyone within the industry and the fans have shown for sending letters and shout-outs to Mr. K-OSS and Big Hutch. He wants to let everyone know that Hutch has been transferred to another Federal Institution, so he is placing a moratorium (asking everyone to hold off on sending him letters). PLEASE DON’T SEND ANY MORE LETTERS TO HUTCH AT THE LAS VEGAS ADDRESS, BECAUSE THEY WILL BE SENT BACK TO YOU AND/OR HE WON’T EVEN RECEIVE THEM. A new address will be given soon, so keep an eye out for that, as usual our Parliament members will be given access to that information first, so be sure to register and join our message-board.As an added bonus, be sure to check out the media section, we have added a video interview that the group did back in 1998 on a promotional tour of “Time Will Reveal.”

So, hier mal ein paar Infos für die die nicht regelmäßig im ATL Forum unterwegs sind. Das ist Damon X's Antwort auf die Frage was so geplant ist, wo doch K-OSS und Hutch sitzen.

Well I have some releases that I planned on releasing while Hutch is doing his bid, but things have slightly went off schedule. Right now what we are trying to do is build the WestWorld catalog and get the business side moving forward, ATL has albums worth of tracks for days, so releasing music is not an issue, just creating the right environment is and the environment hasn't been up to my standards, but I have to roll with what the CEO says, but things should be smoother as we master this indie game.

ATL Crime Files it was just something we put out in a very limited release in 97-98. I'm trying to see if we can re-release it, but freshen it up a bit. I'm gonna make a snippet of the compilation in the upcoming months.
