The BBP first dropped the critically acclaimed album "Circumstance Dictates" in early 2001. The album, entirely produced by Jake One and Vitamin D made waves on the indie scene, and eventually lead to a rigorous touring schedule across the US and Canada. BBP smashed virtually every US and Canadian market with their brand of true hiphop, along the way securing an extremely loyal fanbase that continued to grow with each visit. The crews contacts and efforts found them sharing the stage locally and nationally with the likes of Eminem, the Wu Tang Clan, the Roots, the Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dogg, as well as all the top drawing independent hiphop acts across the nation. In 2002, BBP was invited to the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, where they rocked to 30,000 global music fans with the likes of Erykah Badu, the Roots, Common and Talib Kweli. That same year found the Seattle trio rocking the infamous Bumbershoot festival on the main stadium stage in front of 50,000 heads with the likes of Mos Def, Jurassic 5 and Dilated Peoples. Ich war von "Reprogram" ja ziemlich enttäuscht, bzw war ich nicht weil ich sie da zum ersten mal gehört habe, aber das Album war einfach nur langweilig. Hab trotzdem mal in "The Shakedown" reingehört, und das Teil ist verdammt gut geworden... auf der myspace seite gibts nur einen track, nämlich den Titeltrack, aber der ist schon mal sehr tight und wert mal angehört zu werden...
Denke mal nicht dass hier allzuviele Fans von den Jungs sein werden, aber ich wollte nur mal piep machen und sagen dass "The Shakedown" um Welten besser ist als das Vorgängeralbum "Reprogram"....
so far, vllt hat sich das Teil ja auch schon jemand andrer zu Gemüte geführt
