In the Murder Dog Magazine issue Volume 6 Number 4 with the Cash Money's The Hot Boys on the cover, Black Dog Bone did the best interview ever completed with the now defunt Hot Boys.

The issue also had UGK (R.I.P Pimp C), Eightball & MJG, Master P, C-Murder, the entire TRU (when No Limit was hot).

Most shocking thing is in hype of all those powerhouses of the time, local Antioch California sensation L-Love rises. In the letters section a fan wrote in a letter about L-Love that was printed, and then in the Cd Review section they reviewed L-Love presents "East County Gamers". They gave the cd 3 1/2 Nutts and called the cd the Pick Of The Month. "PICK OF THE MONTH"! Just for referrence in that issue also were reviewed was Too $hort "Can't Stay Away", Lil KeKe "It Was All A Dream", C-Bo's Mob Figaz, Fiend "Street Life", Mc Eiht "Section 8", X-Raided "The Unforgiven Vol. 1", Black-N-Brown "18 Wit A Bullet" and ect.

Are you L-Love? If not I've never seen anyone so in love with him b4. I bought 3 of his albums from cdbaby. None of them were tight in any way. The only track I did like featured Smoov-E and L-Love wasn't even on the track! Thats just my opinion... Maybe there is some super slumper he did that I have yet to hear?

I run the online promotions for him, his company and his artist on the label as well as the artists projects that he does project coordination for. He is more online now though and sees everything.

You should pick up the O.G. "East County Gamers" it was the very first compilation that was based on Antioch rap and Antioch rappers. It has local Antioch artists Afrodeziak, Pola Bear and Damien. It also has the Luniz, Captain Save Em' from T.W.D.Y and alot of top Bay Area rappers to go along with the Local Antioch Talent.

Also the first "The Styles Of The Bay". It was the 3rd compilation to ever be released from the Bay Area and it features Ant Banks, Too $hort, Celly Cel, Father Dom, Ironic, Jt The Bigga Figga, Rappin' 4-Tay, The Click, and many more.

The best solo L-Love cd is "Done...But Not Finished!" but I am sure that you have that.

www.rapbay.com if you e-mail them, I am sure that they could get all the old L-Love cds. They seem to be close with him.
