man this world is so twisted. We got happy when we heard that k-rino sold 10,000 units off the dope album fear no evil and at the same time mad if z-ro would sell 'only' 100,000 units of a cd that cant even come close to any rino release. that's fucked up!

that joke wasnt funny i was already happy for rino. it must be hard in this biz if you do really everything by yourself music and bizness wise without any financial help from others. rino lets them cd's even press himself.

i think the key is promotion... and i think the best way to promote is doing as many shows as possible in the area where you are from to start a buzz...what do u think?

...but i also think that rino would be much more known if he was from NY. thats fo sho. Like kuwait said, he should go to NY and walk into all these big studiios and buildings to get recognized ... he needs to do it himself cuz his hometown aint really showin no love to him at all imo (radio etc.)
i must say that i dont relally like the h-town scene cuz they mostly focus on all that fake bullshit

promotion, promotion, promotion, etc... thats to me too the main problem of the spc...

most of them aint dedicated and focused well enough either...

last week some cat (mid 20's i'd say, and he knew his eastcoast old school) at a party asked me about my rap-a-lot shirt and so on...we talked a lil, and he thought 'the fix' (that defjam album) was scarface's debut...talk about lack of promotion by RAL...through his ability to sing and rap, Z-Ro HAS the chance of commercial success IMO...but wrong label wrong time..even tho i don't like the sound, he could easily do what mike jones or lil flip do...plus much better while still appealing to bigger audiences...at least i think so...

oh and regarding z-ro...even my girl really liked that 'life of j. mcvey', and she's more on that mainstream stuff...

i bet that shirt looks clean...i dunno bout too much other sources...our newest member pusherman hooked me up with a face-ballsmyword ral shirt...(cover on the front, ral logo on the back)...superthrowed shirt...(big ups to push!!..lol)...

hm i thought about making my own, u know just going to sum t-shirt shop and putting a logo on a white tee...got the idea after i saw that video to slim thug - 3 kings, there was one dude wearing a shirt with the 'we can't be stopped'-cover...now THAT looked tight
