Kennt das jemand?
Habs in dem einen Cd Laden gekauft, hatte aber keine ahnung wer das ist.
Hört sich ziemlich ruhig, sind aber gute Rapps. Und da "Detroit" vorkommt
hab ich's mal zu Midwest getan.

hat früher zu slum village gehört, jetzt nimmer soweit ich weiss...das welcome 2 detroit ist halt son produzenten-album von ihm...ist schon ewig her dass ichs letzte mal gehört hab aber glaub war ganz gut... |

Sorry, wenn ich wieder die alten Threads rauskrame, aber Welcome 2 Detroit läuft bei mir momentan tagein - tagaus...geh momentan voll auf Dilla´s Style ab. Hab mir jetzt auch mal die Frank-N-Dank "48 Hours" bestellt...weiß jemand wie die ist? Gibt´s in naher Zukunft was neues von Dilla zu erwarten? Jaylib war irgendwie nicht so meins  ...kann aber auch daran liegen, dass mir der ganze Hype um das Projekt bitter aufgestoßen ist...

ist auf jeden fall ein geiles album mit sehr geilen ebats von jay dee, also da verpasste schon was, wenn dirs entgehen lässt finde ich. |

Fand der Hype um das Album hatte fast schon Kanye West´sche Ausmaße  ...hab halt erstmal die Finger von gelassen, weil sich wirklich jeder Monk das Maul drüber zerissen hat, aber hab letztens bei men Freund zwei 12´´es vom Album gehört und die haben mir - im gegensatz zu den vorab-web-sachen - doch schon eher zugesagt...rapmäßig sind sie ja beide nicht gerade on top, wobei ich bei dilla irgendwie immer schmunzeln muss...madlib mag ich einfach nicht.
Werd´s auf jeden Fall mal nachholen

stimmt schon, rap-technisch wird da nix dolles geboten, aber dafür sind die beats einfach nur göttlich

Das Frank-N-Dank Album fand ich ziemlich bescheiden, hatte das Gefühl da war an Beats nur die B-Ware von Jay-Dee drauf und Frank-N-Dank ist nun auch wirklich kein Rapper der besonders heraussticht... |

der mann macht seit einiger zei schon sehr geile beatz, oft wirken sie im gegensatz zu manch anderem echt noch ungehört und die vocals sind i.d.R grottenschlecht, aber die produktionen sind echt dope!
bei sandbox bekommt man noch ziemlich viel von ihm, jaylib is ja das bekannteste von ihm |

jo ich wollt wissen ob jemand das donuts album zufällig am start hat... ich würds mir doch sehr gern anhören hab aber momentan keine kohle mir das zu holen und auch im netz noch nix gefunden... wenn mir da mal jemand einen link senden kann wär ich doch sehr froh... danke im voraus |
