Dawreck carries triple the weight with projects all set to hit the streets. The infamous Triple Darkness enforcer admits to having mass amounts of material gearied for two group albums (Last Dayz and an untitled album). “We got like 50-60 songs and then we gon' separate ‘em up,” says Dawreck. Unfortunately Last Dayz has had set backs with its release date due to issues within the group. “Hanius (of Triple Darkness) locked up right now. We not gon' release the Last Dayz album till we get everything decided with Hanius. That's where the other album comes in at. Because I know people have been waitin' so long, so we gon' put somethin' out on the underground,” explains Dawreck. Apparently Chi-Town unity means a lot to Triple Darkness as they have a wide array of artists they will mix into their new material: Crucial Conflict, PsychoDrama, The Legendary Traxster, Snypaz, D-Fly, Heartstoppa and more. Dawreck goes into further detail regarding the new Traxster production for the trio: “He did a couple of new radio songs. He did some classic Chicago style stuff for us, heavy bass, hi hats, kinda like Adrenaline Rush.”
Besides the group, Dawreck himself takes on many responsibilities. Rapper, producer, CEO, graphic designer – What else can he do? Answer: film-maker. After playing the character Pancake in Chicago's first official gangster film, Trust None (starring Lil E, Illa WhiteFolks & PsychoDrama), Dawreck ventures into his own movie world. “Its not a title right now, but basically its some hood shit. It's kinda like evil and innocence type of shit,” says Dawreck about his upcoming movie. He extends his work ethic even further by commenting, “I'm workin' on a solo album with Cayex Illah who used to be with Legit Ballin.. He might produce all of it. I'm tryin to write the movie and the album at the same time, so it coincides with each other.” One would think the creativity level must be high for this DramaWard member to take on such tasks virtually at the same time, plus have them relate to one another. Whenever Triple Darkness rises to new challenges, you better believe they will take the dawreck approach.
