Todd Mumford aka Mum's the Word is a Los Angeles, CA, based hip-hop producer who has been steadily making his way through the underground scene for the past several years. He has worked on projects with the Visionaries, Kombo, LMNO, Kazi, Subtitle, Of Mexican Descent, MURS, remixed the Beastie Boys and is a member of the group the Mind Clouders (w/2Mex and DJ Chopps), just to name a few. Mum's has also engineered studio sessions for a good portion of the L.A. underground.

Mum's the Word started on his path towards a career in music as a college radio DJ at UC Santa Barbara, from 1993-1997. Under the name Todd One and the show name "Live and Uncut" (along with his partner DJ Gram), Mum's first made contact with groups like the Visionaries, the Loot Pack, the Blak Forest, and many other DJ's and record industry people from across the U.S. Gradually, as his interest in all things music related grew he found his way into the production side of things and bought his first drum machine and later a sampler. The first MC he produced music for was Subtitle (whom he met through the radio show). Mum's also worked with both LMNO and Writer's Block on 3-song demos in 95' as well as Kazi (Stones Throw) around the same time. He also worked extensively with a hip-hop duo known as Lexicon, helping to produce and release their first 12" and EP.

Oh No
Michael Jackson?s father, Otis, Sr. is an acclaimed 70s soul-slinger; mother Senesca wrote most of his classic tunes. Oh No (Michael) is the younger brother of indie hip hop icon Madlib (Otis Jr., a.k.a. Madvillain, Quasimoto, Jaylib) and, just like his sibling, he triples as an MC-Producer-DJ. He debuted as an artist in his own right with a string of singles on Stones Throw and Groove Attack. Oh No's name has grown in recent years, with production work for numerous artists including Medaphoar, LMNO, Aloe Blacc, Wildchild (half of Secondary Protocol) and Murs (The End Of The Beginning).

Brother Ali
Originally, influenced by Earth Wind and Fire and born into Hip Hop through break dancing, Brother Ali has been one with the mic since he first heard KRS-ONE on record. A student of Hip-Hop?s golden age, Ali?s music ranges from purpose to passionate, yet always soulful and true to the boastful heritage of our culture. An emcee, producer, host and overall party-starter, Ali dropped his debut, ?Rites of Passage", on Rhymesayers Entertainment in 2000, produced six songs on Musab?s, ?Respect The Life? album and battled in the 2000 and 2001 finals in the annual Scribble Jam MC Battles. His album includes ?Shadows on the Sun? (2003/RSE) & ?Champion? (2004/RSE).
