Mr. Metaphor Album auf Rawkus!
Brooklyn Academy Mitglied Mr. Metaphor hat bei dem vor kurzem wiederbelebten Lieblings-Label der Backpacker-Fraktion Rawkus Records unterschrieben und wird in Kürze neues Material präsentieren. Sein zweites Solo-Album "Free Crib" wird u.a. Killah Priest, Pumpkinhead, Block McCloud, Lil Lego, Illz Berry Doughboy, Raw Doggz und War Bixby featuren und Produktionen von Will Tell, Young Cee, M-Phases, Beat Brewers, Break Neck Beats sowie Mr. Metaphor höchstpersönlich enthalten. Wurde aber auch Zeit dass es aus dem Brooklyn Academy Umfeld mal wieder Neuigkeiten zu vermelden gibt...

Rawkus ist ja im Moment schwer aktiv, diese 50 MC's Geschichte von denen wird ja auch schwer gehyptet. Denke aber da wird es den ein oder anderen geben der in dem Label-Rooster untergehen wird...

Glaube auch nicht dass die in absehbarer Zeit kommt, dafür probiert Rawkus einfach zu wenig neues aus. Denke sowieso dass die Zeit des Labels vorbei sein dürfte, das dauert nicht lange und die verschwinden wieder in der Versenkung. Bei den bisherigen Veröffentlichungen war ja wohl nun auch nix dabei was sich ansatzweise gut verkauft hat, und ohne mal einen Verkaufserfolg zu landen geht es auf Dauer einfach nicht.

Ja, habe da auch ein paar Erwartungen. Wäre auch schön wenn das Album ein zumindest kleiner Erfolg wird, vielleicht gelingt es dann auch der gesamten Brooklyn Academy als Gruppe mal bei einem ordentlichen Label unterzukommen...

Marc Bars is going to tell his story. Marc is my real name, and the bars will be the written scriptures of my life.

You are going to find out the Brooklyn Ac cat is not a crazy wild peurtorock like his brothers from another mother, but a cultured French and Jewish Whiteboy from Park Slope Brooklyn born and raised into hip hop, breakdancing on card board boxes growing up in the 80's.

Marc Bars is going to tell you about music being a part of his life before he was born, to his everyday steps now. From his grandmother being a concert pianist, to himself as a vocal major at Laguardia "Fame" high school of the performing arts.

Marc Bars is a musiscian. He raps, sings, produces, engineers studio sesions, writes song compositions for both male and female singers, raps and sings in French, and expresses his happiness, Pain, and hunger through music.
