Finde Cali iz active besser, aber das Kurupt ist auch ziemlich gut

Mir gefallen die features bei cali iz active nicht so.. produktionsmäßig sind aber beide alben sehr gut

Muss meine Meinung nochmal revidieren:

Das Album ist
Hab mich quasi "reingehört" und muss sagen dass ich endlich mal wieder stolz auf den kleinen Daz bin, der diesmal schön harte und bangende Beats fabriziert hat. Dazu rappt Kurupt wieder absolut top imo.

Kurupt Presents Tangled Thoughts - Philly 2 Cali



Tangled Thoughts formed as a group in 2000 in Philadelphia, PA. Consisting of Tek (Producer/MC), Cas,(MC) and De (MC), the trio carefully worked on their crafts, putting in their grind in the City of Brotherly Love for a number of years.

“A lot of stuff we did we got from freestyling on South Street (in Philly). That’s how Tek and Cas met, at a Cypher on South Street” says De.

During that time the group opened shows for such heavyweights as Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, LL Cool J, Lil’ Wayne, M.O.P, Ja Rule, Fabolous, Big Daddy Kane and more, leading to a meeting that would help take their careers to the next level.

In the spring of 2005 Tangled Thoughts hooked up with legendary Dogg Pound Gangsta member Kurupt. After working together on a number of projects together, Kurupt was extremely impressed with the trio, convincing them to take their act to Los Angeles. In the fall of 2005 that is just what they did, hoping to follow the same Philly 2 Cali route to success Kurupt enjoyed in his storied career.

“Kurupt is from the generation that we look up to and we grew up listening to his classic albums. He’s bringing the young boys up and showing us the ropes” explains De.

It wasn’t long after their move that Tangled Thoughts started making an impression in the Los Angeles scene. Tek quickly began producing for Tha Dogg Pound, Freeway, Swizz Beatz, Roscoe, Gail Gotti (Infamous/G Unit), Jayo Felony, Gillie Tha Kid and more. In the meantime the group became focused on their debut album, “Kurupt Presents: Tangled Thoughts” Philly 2 Cali, which will be released in the Spring of 2007 on Good Hands Records.

A monumental project merging the finest in West and East Coast sound, the album is certain to satisfy music lovers all over.

“I really wanted to bring out that g-funk AND I have some breakbeat classics” explains Tek. “It’s Bicoastal, you can vibe to it anywhere. You can bump this in Detroit, Miami and A-Town”

Philly 2 Cali boasts an all star line-up of guests which includes: Kurupt (5 tracks), Freeway, Roscoe, Sen Dog (Of Cypress Hill), Mellow Man Ace, Ab Liva (Re-Up Gang, Major Figgas), Gail Gotti (Infamous/G Unit), Natasha Ramos (Star Trak) and more.

Da gibts 2 neue Tracks zu hören. Sein neues Album wird "Fatal Attraction" heissen und vermutlich im Sommer droppen. Produktionen vorraussichtlich u.a. von Daz, Warren G (!), Fredwreck (!), Niggarachi ( ) und wohl auch Soopafly. Bin gespannt.

Kurupt, Gail Gotti Announce New aAlbum

The future newlyweds will release an untitled full-length album together this summer through Kurupt’s Penagon Enterprises and Gail Gotti’s Night-In-Gail Entertainment.


Two tracks from the upcoming album, “Ride It Out,” which was produced by Mobb Deep’s Havoc and “Rap or Death” featuring Mobb Deep’s Prodigy were recently released.
