3D Launches Debut Album on Roy Jones Jr.'s Label BHE
Teen rap sensation, 3D is releasing their first album on Tuesday, June 27th, 2006 entitled, 'Boys Will Be Boys' on the label Body Head Entertainment distributed through Navarre. A star-studded album release party will be held on Monday, June 26th at Club Dimensions at 2148 West Delano, Pensacola, Florida. In attendance will be Mr. Roy Jones Jr. himself as well as the Body Head Bangerz family...
The teen group consisting of three members, Dre and DJ ages 14 (who are actually Roy Jones Jr.’s twin sons) and their 17 year old cousin Dman. Beginning to catch the music bug back when the twins were just 9 years old, they joined up with their cousin to form the group after countless hours in the studio with their father and his artists signed to BHE.
The group’s debut album reflects positive lyrics, energy and an optimistic outlook on life. 3D always brings their enthusiasm to each appearance and love to perform in front of their fans. They are currently on a middle/high school tour across the country to promote the album.
Their first single, ‘3D Party’ is currently in rotation on Radio Disney and their second single, ‘My Show’ is the number three most added and requested song on Urban College Radio according to CMJ. The group will be embarking on a radio promo tour leading up to back to school in August.
Planning to take over the teen music industry, these three artists are in their own words are, ‘Divine, Dangerous and Determined’ hence the name 3D and with their names starting with ‘D’s the moniker makes complete sense. The group is also one of the spoke persons for the new Bicycle company called, StreetsweeperNYC, who is known for their revolutionary spinning rims and unique styling. The group has customized bikes from the company and plan to take them on the road and eventually team up to create 3D/BHE bikes for their fans.
