The Breakdown TV Launches Season II
Online Hip-Hop Video Show’s New Season Adds “Tour Video Blogs” and Free Subscriptions For All Viewers


BALTIMORE – April 10, 2006 – The Breakdown TV, the world's first and only Hip Hop video show to broadcast exclusively from the web is back for Season II. The second season will begin Monday April 17th at 9 p.m. EST. The Breakdown TV crew will broadcast a new episode every Monday night for a full 12 week season. This season will feature interviews from some of Hip Hop’s top artists including Murs, Little Brother, Swollen Members, The Gym Class Heroes, Ghostface, The DST Graffiti Crew, and many others.

The Breakdown TV (http://www.TheBreakdown.tv) is a combination of unique artist interviews and a prized catalog of Hip Hop videos ranging from the new school hits to the classic hard-to-find old school classics. The show's content and quality has been compared to Yo! MTV Raps. Currently in its first season, The Breakdown TV has drawn audiences from all over the world. The web site features archives of past episodes including interviews with Immortal Technique, MOP, Jean Grae, Mr Dibbs, Qunique, Hangar 18, and many more of hip hop’s most respected artists.

This season the staff has added additional programming and features to the site. The newest feature is called the Tour Video Blog. The Tour Video Blog gives a behind the scenes look at life on the road. Before Hangar 18 of Definitive Jux went out on tour The Breakdown TV gave them a video camera and said “just let it roll, and send us the footage”. The results are the first edition of the Tour Video Blog viewable anytime at www.TheBreakdown.tv . This is a feature will include more artists that are taking to the highways of the world to pursue their musical aspirations.
