Hab mal reingehört, finds überraschend gut, vor allem Havoc's beat "How we live" is der Hammer

viele der lieder sind schon auf diversen d-block tapes draussen, der havoctrack taugt was, g-joint find ich bis auf den rockkram ganz gut.hab aber auch noch nich alles gehört,aber denke nicht dass es besser is als "a gangsta and a gentleman"

..hatte 50cent wohl doch seine drohung von damals wahr gemacht bei interscope als er in irgendnem gammeldisstrack meine zu jada "...another word from you and i put styles' shit back..."

"A Gangster And A Gentleman" ist um längen besser als "Time Is Money".

Das Album erscheint erst am 19.12.2006, diesmal aber wohl definitiv, denn das gibt es eigentlich überall als Vorbestellung:

Styles P Is No Longer With Interscope


According to Styles P's myspace page, the Yonkers, NY rapper is no longer on Interscope Records.


Just weeks after dropping his much-delayed sophomore CD, Time Is Money, to little fanfare, Styles declared on his myspace page that he is a free agent...




Time Is Money, which came out on December 19, sold 45,700 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. As of today (January 4), the album has only moved 60,000 copies.


In related news, The Ghost recently made headlines after he was injured in a road rage incident in Greenburgh, NY. According to New York's WABC-TV, the 32-year-old rapper (born David Styles) told police his 2003 Mercedes-Benz was cut off by a truck on Saw Mill River Road on Saturday afternoon (December 23). He said he then cut off the truck, got out and threw napkins at the window. As he was getting back in his car, Styles told police the truck rammed him. The rapper's left leg was broken and he was taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.


50 year-old John Henson, the driver of the truck, was charged with second-degree assault in connection with the incident. Henson reportedly told police he was not aware he had cut off Styles' car and that he was "in fear for his safety" when the rapper got back into his car after throwing the napkins, according to a police report.

Naja war auf jeden Fall besser als ichs erwartet habe, sin zwar n paar scheiß Tracks dabei, aber auch ordentliche wie "how we live" und "G-Joint" .. und "I'm black", was ja schon mehrere Jahre alt is, gefällt mir auch (immer noch)

hätte besser werden können, ich find vielleicht 4 tracks ganz gut, das gitarrenriff bei "g-joint" nervt,aber vom ding her lustig dass ein g-unit diss auf ner interscope platte rauskommt

Styles released his debut solo album in 2002 titled "A Gangster and a Gentleman," which featured the smash hit, "Good Times (I Get High)" and sold an impressive 700,000 units. In 2005, he released two stand-alone mixtapes, "Ghost in the Shell" and "Ghost in the Machine." In 2006 Interscope released P's sophomore solo effort "Time Is Money" after nearly a three and a half-year delay.
