Stones Throw's first DVD, Stones Throw 101 served as a primer course for those unfamiliar with the label's video releases, and included one of indie hip-hop's greatest visual moments, the animated Madvillain "All Caps" video. Directors of Stones Throw 101 videos have gone on to great heights, working for the likes of Nas, Young Buck, Ludacris and alongside visionaries like Michel Gondry.

For the label's follow up, the West Coast mavericks have assembled a more advanced curriculum, In Living The True Gods - a line borrowed from Madvillain’s "Accordion,” seen for the first time on this collection.

From the surrealist Quasimoto "Bullyshit" animated video to the late J Dilla's last appearance on film in MED's "Push" to the neo-noir animated nightmare of Madvillain's "Monkey Suite," this anthology demonstrates Stones Throw's widening, and never retiring, creative base. A series of bonus features range from an exclusive J Dilla interview from 2003 to a mini-documentary Charizma and Peanut Butter Wolf, shot in session on VHS in 1992.

Kid Robot and Stones Throw have teamed up for the Quasimoto figure, which will be released February 19, 2009. The Quasimoto figure is 8-inches tall, available in equal quantities of yellow and blue, each with a brick and spliff “cigarette.”

The hip-hop artist Quasimoto (aka Lord Quas) was created by Madlib. He has released two albums, The Unseen and The Further Adventures of Lord Quas, a collection of singles, and guest appearances on albums by Madvillain and Jaylib. The Quasimoto figure is based on the character drawn by Jeff Jank. (Read: History of Lord Quas )

Kid Robot and Stones Throw released a Madvillain figure in January 2007, which sold out in a matter of hours. A limited number of the Quasimoto figure are available via pre-sale at Stones Throw's online store, and will be sold at Kid Robot stores and the locations listed below.

2010 release, the first installment in a 12 CD series from the California-based rapper/producer. Madlib Medicine Show #1: Before The Verdict is a full 17-track Hip Hop album with original tracks and "the OJ Simpson remixes" featuring Guilty Simpson. Consider it a prelude to Madlib & Guilty's collab OJ Simpson. There are two brief guest appearances by MED and J Dilla, in a short, previously unreleased interlude dating back to his and Madlib's first collaboration.

Description: Second of a one-a-month, twelve-CD series from Madlib on his own imprint, Madlib Invazion. Odd numbers in the series are original productions by Madlib, even numbers are mixtapes.
